Penn State students visited the Ocean City NJ Fall Block Party
October 11th to raise money supporting the annual "Thon" (*)
held on the University Park campus.

Got tickets? Need tickets? Hotel room?
We try to help fellow members of our local Penn State Alumni Association either obtain or sell/transfer tickets to games and hotel rooms in and around State College.

Simple rules apply, with the primary being NO SCALPING!! If you wish to sell your valuable hotel room(s) or tickets for a nice little profit, take your business elsewhere, along with those risks. This is a service that a few of us like to take on just to help out.

For the “away” games, some of us will take road trips to catch another college campus and see another city for a weekend outing. Occasionally we have either tickets, hotel rooms or even flight seats that are available, again through our own membership and those close friends/associates from other alumni chapters. Same rules apply, if we’re going to help with any exchange the selling price must be what the purchase price was.

S J. Shore Scholarship Dinner Speaker
The Penn State South Jersey Shore Chapter Scholarship Dinner will be held Monday, June 30^th  at the Great Bay Golf Club in Somers Point. Guest Speaker for the annual event will be Mark Pavlik, Penn State Men’s Volleyball Coach. Dinner tickets are $35. The Penn State Men's Volleyball Team captured its second national championship title last month, capping off a 30-1 season with a thrilling come-from-behind win over Pepperdine for the championship. (More details on the dinner will be posted as they become available.

• If you attend one of the 30 high schools in the four-county South Jersey region and intend to start college at Penn State in the Fall of 2009 - be sure to sign-up for this year's SJS Scholarship competition.
