All
Penn State Football games will be broadcast live in southern New Jersey
on 98.7FM - WCZT in Wildwood, NJ.
Got tickets? Need tickets?
Hotel room?
We try to help fellow members of our
local Penn State Alumni Association either obtain or sell/transfer
tickets to games and hotel rooms in and around State College.
Simple rules apply, with the
primary being NO SCALPING!! If you wish to sell your valuable hotel room(s) or
tickets for a nice little profit, take your business elsewhere, along with those
risks. This is a service that a few of us like to take on just to help out.
For the “away” games, some of us will take road trips to catch another college
campus and see another city for a weekend outing. Occasionally we have either
tickets, hotel rooms or even flight seats that are available, again through our
own membership and those close friends/associates from other alumni chapters.
Same rules apply, if we’re going to help with any exchange the selling price
must be what the purchase price was.
Questions? More info? Call us or email one of us at the following:

Pres.) hm 398-1228, wk 926-9000, cell 432-6220, email at

Penn State City Lights
(SOLD OUT) Tutankhamen and the Golden Age of the
Pharaohs
Philadelphia -The Franklin Institute
February 14, 2007 ~ 5:30–9:00 p.m.
http://www.alumni.psu.edu/events/CityLights07/default.htm
Join other Penn Staters for a Valentine’s Day dessert reception, a special
tour of this highly anticipated exhibit, and a presentation by Penn State’s
world-renowed Egyptologist Donald Redford on the famous King Tut and life in
ancient Egypt. Tickets are very limited. Register online beginning Jan. 2.
Alumni members and their guests $45; non-members $55.
If you’ve heard of the famous King Tut or hieroglyphics or been fascinated
by the religion or science in ancient Egypt, you’ll want to hear more from
Penn State’s Classics and Ancient Mediterranean Studies Professor Dr. Donald
Redford. One of the world’s leading archaeologists, Dr. Redford is
excavating in Egypt at four sites: East Karnak, part of ancient Thebes where
he discovered the lost temple of Pharaoh Akhenaten, father-in-law of
Tutankhamun; the famous Luxor Valley of the Nobles; Mendes, the ancient
capital with two harbors on the once larger Nile; and northern Sinai.
Penn Staters will be treated to a presentation on life in ancient Egypt
during the Golden Age of the Pharaohs, including the reigns of the
remarkable Akhenaten and his wife Nefertiti, as well as Tutankhamun.
Event Location: The Franklin Institute, 222 North 20th Street (at the intersection with the
Benjamin Franklin Parkway)
