2012 Football Season Tailgate
Join our South Jersey Shore Chapter for tailgating at every home game this year. Meet up with us the space # 481, located along the right-field side of the "Spikes" Baseball Field, just across the street from Beaver Stadium. The motor home is parked and ready at the site by 9 am of each game day. Got tickets? Need tickets? Hotel room?
We are try to help fellow members of our local Penn State Alumni Association either obtain or sell/transfer tickets to games and hotel rooms in and around State College .

Simple rules apply, with the primary being NO SCALPING!! This is a service that a few of us like to take on just to help out. Tickets are to be offered at face value or less.

For the “away” games, some of us will take road trips to catch another college campus and see another city for a weekend outing.

Occasionally we have tickets and/or hotel rooms that are available, again through our own membership and those close friends/associates from other alumni chapters.

Same rules apply, if we’re going to help with any exchange the selling price must be the purchase price or less.

May 24, 2012 Scholarship Dinner

2012 Scholarship Winners – Suzanna Marrero, center, Egg Harbor Twp. High School and Hannah Lavin, right, Ocean City High School, received Penn State South Jersey Shore Scholarships at the May 24, 2012 annual Chapter Dinner . Presentations were made by Bruce Engle, Chairperson of the PS SJS Scholarship Committee.

South Jersey Shore Alumni Chapter
Scholarship Dinner May 24, 2012

The 2012 Annual Scholarship Dinner for the Penn State South Jersey Shore Alumni Chapter will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Greate Bay Country Club, Somers Point.

This is a fundraising event to support the two (2) $1,000 Scholarships that are awarded each year to students from the South Jersey Shore that enter Penn State as Freshman.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Patrick Chambers, Penn State Men’s Basketball Coach.

Tickets for the event are $35 each and the dinner choices are Char-Broiled Salmon or Chicken Picatta.

A Silent Auction is featured with plenty of Penn State collectibles, area restaurant dinner certificates and tickets to cultural events.
